Kyle Seakhoa
Title: Conceptual decolonization and African literature
Mr Kyle Seakgwa is an associate lecturer at the University of the Western Cape in the Philosophy Department.
He holds undergraduate degrees in philosophy, psychology and English, and an M.A in philosophy, all from the University of the Western Cape. He is currently pursuing an MPhil in IT from the University of Cape Town, as a Mandela Rhodes Scholar.
His research and teaching interests include metaphilosophy (especially the cognitive science of philosophy) and issues at the intersection of cognitive science and literary criticism. He has also taught an undergraduate course on the philosophy of race, culture and identity at the University of the Western Cape for many years.
