Prof Puleng LenkaBula: Principal and Vice Chancellor University of South Africa (UNISA)
Prof Puleng LenkaBula is a trained Feminist Ethicist with a PhD in Social Ethics (2006/7). She is the new Principal and Vice Chancellor of the University of South Africa since January 2021 and the first woman Vice Chancellor in the 148 years of Unisa existence and the 3rd Vice chancellor since the advent of South Africa’s democratisation. Prior to this appointment she worked at the University of the Free State as the Deputy Vice Chancellor: Institutional Change, Student Affairs and Engaged Scholarship. She has also worked at University of Witwatersrand as the Dean of Student Affairs and member of the Vice Chancellor’s office. LenkaBula continues to partner with scholars in other universities, including but not limited to visiting scholarships in Botswana, Ghana, Vasteras, Sweden, Columbia University Center for African studies and Emmanuel College of the University of Toronto.

Asante Lucy Mtenje is Associate Professor in the Department of English at University of Malawi, Chancellor College. She holds a PhD in English Studies from Stellenbosch University in South Africa, a Master of Arts in Literature and Bachelor of Arts Humanities degree from the University of Malawi. She teaches courses in African literature, African oral literature, Creative Writing, Feminist Theories and Practice. Her research interests are in gender and sexualities in Africa, Malawian popular cultures, oral literature, religion and dress studies. She is also a published poet and short fiction writer. Mr Eugene Skeef : A South African percussionist, composer, poet, educationalist, animate and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts who has also served on the board of directors of the London Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO).
