“The Role of Writers’ Organisations in Society”
Presented by the wRite associates in partnership with UNISA Department of English Studies, the conference this year, seeks to interrogate the state and significance of writers organisations in society. The conference will also look into the establishment of a South African Writers organisation which will address the interests of South African writers.
The Minister of Arts and Culture, Mr Nathi Mthethwa, will deliver the 5th Africa Day Lecture.
